Proximity Readers: Proximity reader work in the same way as magnetic stripe readers and barcode readers. However, they can'read’ an ID card or badge once it's nearby without the user having it inserted or swiped.
Key pads: Users enter a PIN/access code to activate keypad turnstile gates.
